The relationship between belief, knowledge, mythology, and religion is that whether or not a myth or a religious belief is knowledgeable depends on that person’s belief in general. Where they differ is myths are supernatural stories belonging to a culture and religion is a set of beliefs and practices pertaining to a God, supernatural or not.
Myths are relevant in contemporary culture because they are based upon history and they give us an insight on how things came to be. Whether it is truthful or believable, the myths help us to at least have a “what if….” Scenario during the hard times.
