Extraordinary drone footage of an untouched Antarctica

    By Rachel Oakley

Drone footage doesn’t get any better than this. Aboard his father’s 46-foot sailboat in Antarctica, Kalle Ljung captured some incredible scenery with just a GoPro and a small drone.

BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL DRONE VIDEO OVER ANTARCTICA

    http://6abc.com/weather/amazing-beautiful-drone-video-over-antarctica/689307/

An amazing video, a film crew spent 20 days capturing some of the most incredible aerial footage of the harshest, coldest environment on earth: Antarctica.

    **

Kalle Ljung and his small crew took drone footage across the frozen tundra of Antarctica from December 2014 to January 2015, showcasing the epic natural beauty of the most sparsely populated continent. The video has amassed more than 240,000 views in one week on Vimeo.

Much of the footage shows the stillness of enormous blocks of ice, though some surprising gems surface: a fishing boat at 1:53 and a family of whales swimming at 6:19.

The crew began their trek from the bottom tip of South America, and arrived at a northern-stretching band of Antarctica in the Melchior Islands four days later.

“We spent 16 days in the Antarctic and got to experience the most amazing scenery and wildlife before we returned back,” wrote Ljung.

    ドローン によって撮影された映像を見ていて驚かされるのが、そこに必ず人の痕跡が映し出されていることだ。

    人の痕跡のない映像の、なんと稀なことか。

    Kalle Ljung の南極での映像には、人の痕跡がない。

    なんだか嬉しい。
