From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,

あるものは 火に包まれて 世界は終わる と言う、
あるものは 氷に包まれて と言う。

火を支持する人たちに 賛成だ。
でも もし世界が 二度破滅しなければいけないとしたら、
僕は 憎しみも 十分知っているので
破滅にとって 氷もまた
