What has begun
atom by atom, the interiority first constructing itself
by ones, a gathering of intent
or simply persistence, the shapes
refined and eventually ejected, this
takes shape like a dawn in gray,
the vefifiable aspects of a life
coming together inside the arc of a shell,
the integuments
and masses on centrality, the mollusk body
of love coalescing like birth
in each day renewed,
your various features
and possibilities
placed into their familiar spots,
the light shining now
upon whatever disappeared into dreams
the nocturnal disbanding
of everything,
particles and selvage
scattered on the floor,
now returned to us, only
a slight recall of the disintegration,
the terror.
