Heraclitus

The waking have one world in common; sleepers have each a private world of his own.

Even sleepers are workers and collaborators of what goes on in the universe.

    τοῖς ἐγρηγορόσιν ἕνα καὶ κοινὸν κόσμον εἶναι, τῶν δὲ κοιμωμένων ἕκαστον εἰς ἴδιον ἀποστρέφεσθαι

    Awake, men have a common world, but each sleeper reverts to his private world.

    The waking have one common world, but the sleeping turn aside each into a world of his own.
