Flóttafólk á ekki að þurfa bíða í flóttamannabúðum í tvö ár eftir því að fá að koma hingað. Við Íslendingar erum auðvitað öll komin af flóttamönnum og eigum öll á hættu að verða flóttamenn, við megum ekki gleyma því. Ef það yrði Kötlugos hér til dæmis, myndum við þá sætta okkur við að bíða hér í marga mánuði eða jafnvel ár eftir að land á borð við Danmörku myndi geta tekið við okkur út af einhverri pappírsvinnu.
