Somewhere I can call home
Where I can breathe and not feel alone
Where I can talk and no one knows
Where danger doesn’t grow
Where I am not scared to show
Where I don’t feel vulnerable
Where I can be myself
With no worries.
To feel comfortable
With the smell of flowers
I inhale.
Where as soon as I walk in
There is no such thing as failure.
Where I can lie down
Rub my face on a pillow and know
No one’s going to hurt me.
A safe place.
A Safe Place
